16 billion accounts compromised. Are you at risk?

A new, massive data breach puts billions of accounts worldwide at risk.

According to Malwarebytes, an archive containing over 16 billion credentials has been found online. The data involves logins to everyday services like Google, Apple, Facebook, and Telegram, as well as work-related tools such as GitHub, government portals, VPNs, and cryptocurrency wallets.

This is not just a collection of old passwords: according to experts, much of the information comes from recent infections by infostealer malware, capable of collecting usernames, passwords, session cookies, and even locally stored files directly from victims’ devices.

What does this data breach mean?

In practical terms, anyone who has saved credentials in their browser, accessed services from unsecured devices, or reused passwords could be exposed. The credentials are organized, easily searchable, and exploitable by cybercriminals for targeted attacks, phishing, identity theft, and financial fraud.

And as often happens in these cases, the biggest risk is the one you don’t see: you don’t need to be specifically targeted to be affected. Simply having an account—personal or professional—linked to one of the affected platforms is enough.

Today, security is no longer optional.

Faced with such a widespread threat, the most effective response isn’t fear, but awareness. We need information, education, and practical tools. We need to act proactively.

And this is where our new Security Awareness service comes into play, designed to support individuals and businesses in an ongoing journey of prevention. A tool that doesn’t just tell you what to do, but actively does it for you.

Among the most appreciated features is the ability to monitor personal emails, checking if they appear in known data breaches and alerting users to any exposure in real time. Because today, the boundaries between personal and professional life are increasingly blurred—and security must reflect that.

Practically speaking, what do we offer?

  • Active monitoring of credentials (both corporate and personal)
  • Real-time alerts in case of known or suspected exposure
  • Personalized and up-to-date training programs against phishing and digital scams
  • Monthly reports on the organization’s awareness level

Prevention is better than cure.

In a world where data is the new currency, neglecting security is like leaving your front door wide open. Our approach is based on clear, direct, and constructive communication: we help people understand the risks without unnecessary alarm, but with the right sense of urgency.

Do you want to know if your email has been exposed too?
